This ride presents impressive views of the Grampians Ranges and typical Western Victorian rural settings and farmland. Heading north from the village of Halls Gap, nestled between the majestic Wonderland and Mount William Ranges, the route heads east out of the Grampians National Park towards the town of Stawell.
The route then heads south towards the picturesque small Western Victorian community of Pomonal. The ride provides contrasting views of the towering Mount William Ranges on the right and the wide open western plains and lakes on the left. Take the time to detour onto Kelleys Beach at Lake Fyans for some great panoramic views, and a short ride along the sand if you feel energetic. For the adventurous, there is the choice of dirt tracks through the Devils Garden State Forest as well as a ride through tall, magnificent, quiet bushland along
Red Gum Lease Track on the way back to Halls Gap.
